DESCRIPTION The stamp shows rough & egg shape cut Agate. It is a variety of quartz chalcedony in which successive layers differ in color and translucency due to presence of trace impurities. It occurs in every conceivable color possible with band-like stripes.
   
VARIATION DESCRIPTION The envelope shows a miner panning & washing gold in Soverign Hill, Gold mining township. It is a post office souvenir cover. The post mark cancellation depicts an oil derrick.
